Recovery
A sober environment with room to focus on the work ahead.
The Next Step Recovery
Recovery becomes stronger through community, accountability, and a real opportunity to move forward.
Founded by Adam Gilson
Adam founded The Next Step after his own experience with addiction, incarceration, recovery, and rebuilding. He created the home to help other men find support without judgment and begin making different choices in everyday life.
Tam Bam House is named for his late mother, Tammy. Her belief in him endured through his hardest seasons, and the home carries that support forward for people taking their own next step.

A family namesake
Adam shared that The Griz House was named for his mother's fiancé, giving The Next Step's second recovery home a family connection of its own.
What guides the home
These are not slogans. They shape how residents live together, take responsibility, and prepare for greater independence.
A sober environment with room to focus on the work ahead.
Belonging, connection, and a shared commitment to showing up.
Routines and responsibility that support long-term change.
Space to rebuild confidence and move toward independence.
